Start with accuracy
Choose Simple and type at a pace where you can stay accurate. Look at the screen, keep your hands relaxed, and let speed grow gradually.
A LITTLE PRACTICE, EVERY DAY
A quiet place to become a better typist. Start with a few words.
Rest left fingers on A S D F, right fingers on J K L ;. Thumbs rest over Space.
Green finger = next key · blue finger = hold Shift. Fingers move to the next key as you type.
A STEP FORWARD
TODAY’S SMALL WIN
Post your best to the real-player board. Only your alias, WPM and accuracy are public.
Posting sends this attempt’s typing edits for score validation; the edits are discarded. A daily browser ID keeps one best entry per browser. Published scores are retained for 7 days. 80% accuracy required.
WPM counts correctly matched characters, divided by five, per minute. Accuracy counts every typed character, including mistakes you later correct. Focus drills have their own results and do not set test records. Compare scores within the same mode, language and duration.
A FRESH CHALLENGE. ONE SHARED STARTING LINE.
Same words. Thirty seconds. How far will you go?
REAL PEOPLE. REAL ATTEMPTS.

| Rank | Player | WPM | Accuracy |

The same passage and randomized pace targets are shared worldwide until midnight UTC. Complete the 30-second test with at least 80% accuracy, then choose whether to post. We use a generated alias and keep your best WPM, breaking ties by accuracy, then the earlier submission. One entry per browser per day; different browsers can create separate entries. Scores receive basic server checks, but this casual leaderboard is not cheat-proof. Generated targets are never included in real rankings.
Check in, practice what needs attention, then see how you did.
A fresh sentence challenge each day.
Thirty seconds. Just you and the words.
Your first attempt is a great place to start.
A gentle weekly goal.
Every practice day counts.

THE SMALL THINGS ADD UP
A record of showing up. Saved only in this browser.
Small wins, earned through practice. Finish the timer and type at least 20 characters to count. No streak to lose.
Scores vary by mode and duration. Focus drills and familiar-text retests are labeled separately.

MAKE EACH MINUTE COUNT
A few simple ideas for more comfortable, consistent typing.
Choose Simple and type at a pace where you can stay accurate. Look at the screen, keep your hands relaxed, and let speed grow gradually.
After a test, try the suggested focus exercise. A short session on difficult words is more useful than rushing through another test.
Simple builds confidence. Random adds variety. Sentences add capitals and punctuation. Code uses real JavaScript or Python snippets.
Use a light touch, relax your shoulders, and take breaks. Three short sessions a week is a good place to begin. Missed a day? Just come back.
Type the snippet exactly, including spaces and line breaks. Enter adds a line break. Tab inserts two spaces for JavaScript or four for Python; press Escape first if you want to leave the typing field with Tab.
Yes. Tap the typing field to open your keyboard. Suggestions and autocorrect are requested off, but your keyboard may override this. Mobile and physical-keyboard speeds are different, so compare like with like.
The test stops without saving a score. Return and restart when you are ready; your completed results stay saved.
Your settings, recent scores, practice targets and daily plan stay in this browser. No account is required, and ordinary practice results stay on your device. If you choose to post a daily challenge score, that attempt’s edits are sent to validate the result and then discarded. Its generated alias, WPM and accuracy become public for up to 7 days. A daily browser identifier keeps one best entry per browser. Anonymous counts of starts, completions and returning practice days help us improve the site. These counts stay on our server, with no typed text, scores or visitor identifiers.

14 DAYS · ABOUT 4–6 MINUTES A DAY
Build a steady practice routine for clerical and administrative typing tests.
GIVE YOUR PRACTICE SOME STRUCTURE
Start with a baseline. Practice the mistakes that slow you down. Check your progress with consistent measurements.
The typing tool stays free. The program adds guided lessons, automatic scoring, and targeted practice. Downloadable program for a computer keyboard. It works offline; progress saves in your browser. No coaching or app account is included.
ONE MINUTE. JUST TYPE.
Type for 30 seconds. We’ll build a short drill from your mistakes, handle the scores, and move you to the next exercise.
No signup. Two 30-second exercises with a short break.
THAT’S HOW GUIDED PRACTICE FEELS.
These are different exercises. A faster drill score does not demonstrate improvement on fresh text. Sample scores stay in this tab and are separate from your program progress.
The full program adds 14 guided lessons, saved progress, and starting, midpoint, and final checkpoints.
$19 USD, one time · Enrollment coming soon.
Days 1–6: measure your starting point and work on accuracy, words, spaces, capitals, and punctuation.
Days 7–14: review progress, focus on your main difficulty, and finish with a consistent comparison.
For adults who want a short, organized practice routine. Check your employer’s required duration and scoring rules; our practice tests may differ.
